Money Saving Habits

Right now, Amazon is selling a 12 pack of Organic Pumpkin cans for $12.  That’s $1/can.  That’s the price for non-name brand on-sale pumpkin at my local Kroger last month.  I haven’t used this pumpkin — yet, but I’m going to give it a try.  Will you join me?  Recent reviews say that the dented can issue seems to be resolved.  And use by dates of 2013 are reported.  I’ve been wanting to make up some Pumpkin Muffins and Pumpkin Breads.  Do you have a favorite recipe to share?

A quick look at Amazon has brought up a few ideas to order now for Christmas gifts. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things I like.

This morning I stumbled across these zoo animal silly bands at Amazon….they ship free with super saver shipping and free with Amazon Prime.   Kids of many ages are enjoying this latest fad.  These could be good for Operation Children’s  Shoebox, kid’s birthday goody bags, or even stockings.   I don’t know how long the great deal will last (mine was under $2, shipped free with Prime),  so if you’re interested check out soon.
