One kid’s school supply list included a pack of 4×6 notecards.   I’m very hesitant to spend the $2+ on these cards without good reason. 3×5 cards have worked well in the past. Why is the bigger size suddenly needed?
As I’m dragging my feet on this purchase, we stop in at CVS to pick up some raincheck items in the school supply section. And guess what I see….yup….4×6 index cards. ON SALE! Regular price for a stack of 50 cards is $1.99. On sale this week for $0.39! Yes, thirty-nine cents! At that price I’m happy(ier) to put a couple of in the cart. So, now the back-to-school budget has stayed in check and the kid is happier about having the “correct” supplies.
